Reception registers you and assigns a cabin. It stays yours for the whole plan.

Where is the nearest Shanvi study room or library?
We have three reading rooms: Panga and Tyanglaphat in Kirtipur, and Babar Mahal in central Kathmandu near Singha Durbar. Each is a silent study hall with private cabins, open 5 AM to 10 PM every day.
Can I try the reading room before paying for a month?
Yes. Buy a day pass and study a full day. If it works for you, move to any longer plan at reception.
Do I get the same cabin every day?
Yes. On any plan longer than a day, reception assigns you a cabin that is yours until the plan ends.
Can I change my membership plan later?
Yes. You can contact reception to upgrade or change your membership plan. Our staff will help you with the available options.
Is the reading room open on holidays?
The hall opens 5 AM to 10 PM every day, including public holidays. Any change for Dashain or Tihar is announced in advance.
